Distributed Systems

Distributed Systems collects research on chains, bridges, zero knowledge systems, cryptographic primitives, data availability, and cross-chain infrastructure.

Much of this material is historical research from earlier Jincubator work, but it remains useful context for architecture, protocol engineering, settlement, and product design.

Current Focus

  • Chain architecture and consensus systems
  • Bridges, cross-chain messaging, and light clients
  • Zero knowledge systems and proving infrastructure
  • Cryptographic primitives
  • Data availability

Distributed Systems supports the rest of the taxonomy by providing the infrastructure context behind protocols, settlement systems, and financial platforms.
